Prawn Pakora Recipe
Prawn/Eral are cleaned and deveined. Marinate with the mentioned ingredients and deep fry them. Kids would surely love this treat. I have added less amount of pepper powder. To make it spicy, either increase the quantity of pepper or add red chili powder. The main ingredients for binding are besan and egg. There is no need to add cornflour. Always use small or medium-sized prawns to prepare this pakora. The jumbo prawns wouldn’t be a better choice.
Replace prawn with paneer, soya chunks, or chicken and try the recipe. Along with chopped onions, you can also add green chilies, mint, or coriander leaves for extra flavor. Add 1 tbsp besan at a time and mix everything together. The batter shouldn’t be very thick or thin. I have used groundnut oil for deep frying. This is an easy recipe to follow. You can serve prawn egg pakoda with green chutney or tomato chili sauce. Always serve shrimp fritters hot for better results.
