Prawn Gravy Recipe
Non-veg recipes cooked in a clay pot is totally worth to try. I always prefer clay pot than cast iron when it’s about cooking chicken, mutton, fish or prawn. You would get thick masala gravy this week which could be served along with roti or naan.
I have used medium-sized prawns in the recipe. Remove the shell and devein prawns properly before using it. I marinate it with little turmeric powder and store in an airtight container and let it refrigerate for 2-3 days. It makes my work much easier when it comes to meal planning. Similarly, you can try the same with chicken or mutton. To marinate fish, I also add sambar powder and salt.
To prepare eral gravy, we are using the clay pot method and it doesn’t require any grinding of masala. This is a simple and very basic recipe that uses lots of pepper powder for the spice. I make this masala gravy most of the time with chicken or mutton. Plain coriander powder and garam masala are added for the flavor. Replace coriander powder with curry powder if needed. I have used coconut oil for tempering. Prawn Gravy is a spicy dish. Add coconut milk to get a creamy consistency like curry.
